The compact Lactate SCOUT Sport from EKF is used for the enzymatic-amperometric determination of lactate in fresh capillary blood samples, allowing the evaluation of changes in physical performance and fitness in athletes. This device delivers reliable measurement results in under 10 seconds and is easy and intuitive to use thanks to its 4-button design.
Users can choose between individual tests or step tests, as well as a practical stopwatch function, depending on their needs. Step testing includes resting value, maximum effort, and recovery.
With a built-in Bluetooth LE module, users can wirelessly transfer collected data to an external PC using the Lactate SCOUT Assistant analysis software. It is also possible to pair a Bluetooth-compatible heart rate monitor with the lactate meter. Additionally, the device automatically corrects for the influence of low or high hematocrit values on lactate measurements.
The integrated memory can store up to 500 test results, including date and time. The large e-paper display shows the lactate value, date and time, test mode, temperature, heart rate, and memory ID — even under poor lighting conditions.
