1. Warranty

All our products are covered by the statutory warranty.

The statutory warranty means that a product must do what you, as a consumer, may reasonably expect from it.

Conformity and Warranty

The seller guarantees that the products and/or services comply with the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, the reasonable requirements of soundness and/or usability, and the legal provisions and/or government regulations in force on the date the agreement was concluded.

Any additional warranty provided by the seller, manufacturer, or importer does not affect the legal rights and claims that the consumer may exercise under the agreement against the seller.

2. Exchange and Returns

If you are a private consumer (not applicable to business customers) and you ordered from us by phone or through our website, you have a 14-day cooling-off period after receiving your order.

During these 14 days, from the date of receipt of the item or the conclusion of an agreement for the provision of a service, you may cancel the agreement without giving any reason.

After notifying us, you then have another 14 days to return the product.

You must return the product to us sufficiently prepaid and at your own cost.

For packages over 30 kilograms, which by their nature cannot be returned via standard postal service, return shipping costs are estimated at a maximum of approximately €150 (depending on weight, volume, and location).

The package must be properly packaged and include proof of purchase.

We would appreciate it if you could indicate the reason for return, but this is entirely optional.

You may only handle the product to the extent necessary to determine whether you wish to keep it. This means the packaging should be as original as possible and the product undamaged. If the product is damaged, we may charge a fee for the decrease in value.

We will refund the full purchase price and any shipping costs you paid for delivery (if charged by us) as soon as possible, but no later than the legal period of 14 days after cancellation.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earliest.

We recommend that you use our return procedure, but you may also use the European model withdrawal form.

3. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Athlete BV, Kortrijksestraat 262a, 8501 Heule, Belgium – Tel: +32 (0) 56 322 7466 – info@athlete.be) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g., by letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

4. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from the agreement, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we were informed of your decision to withdraw from the agreement.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earliest.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicated your withdrawal from the agreement to us.

You are deemed to have complied with the deadline if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
